I'm not a library wench anymore.....

A three chord song
2

This is a three chord song written in the key of D major - written in oooh 2015/2016 perhaps when I could see the sparks of living in rural Suffolk but was lusting after the past in Camberwell, London.

I returned to it this morning because the piano at my parents house had been retuned. Yes I was a “library wench”. Or more politically correctly a library assistant in central London. I am currently in the process of learning to enjoy (and relish) the sheen of Suffolk. For too long I hoped for a return to Camberwell’s “gleam”. Which was somewhat naive.

This was recorded on my mobile phone using the voice memo function. I hope you enjoy it.
